The company announced this on its Facebook page.

“On April 25, 2019 at 21:43, Ukrtransnafta forcedly suspended the transit of oil through the Mozyr-Brody oil pipeline (Druzhba Mine). The company, in particular, made such a decision, guided by an agreement on the provision of oil transportation services through the territory of Ukraine. According to the terms of this agreement, Ukrtransnafta has the right to stop receiving Russian oil if the raw materials do not comply with the quality indicators, ”the statement says.

It is noted that the operator of the Ukrainian oil transportation system added that he had to take this step due to the refusal to accept low-quality Russian oil at the delivery points of the Budkovets site (Slovakia) and due to the lack of free tanks at the delivery section of Feneshlit (Hungary).

Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak urged not to politicize the situation with the supply of low-quality oil from Russia to Belarus.
