The singer was present Wednesday, October 10, in Janzé (Ille-et-Vilaine), as part of an operation called Plus de vie. He sang at the EHPAD in front of some two hundred people.

More Life is a charitable operation of the Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris Hospitals of France. It is chaired by Bernadette Chirac who launches each year, the yellow coins operation, intended for hospitalized children, and the operation Plus de vie for elderly people hospitalized in the Ehpad (nursing home for dependent elderly people).

Donations to the Foundation are used, for Operation Plus Life, to fund projects in the fight against pain, getting closer to families, improving the welcome and comfort of residents.

Meeting with Alzheimer's patients

For its major annual meetings, the foundation chose three Ehpad (nursing home for dependent elderly people) in France, including that of Janzé. A delegation of the foundation was present at the Ehpad, accompanied by his godfather: this year, the singer Yves Duteil.

At 3 pm, he was greeted, with thunderous applause, by a guard of honor from 30 residents of the residence La Colline and the EHPAD of Theil-de-Bretagne and ten children with whom he took over the chorus of one of his songs. "I am moved by your welcome," he told the audience.

Then the singer went to the Espace Au Jardin to meet people suffering from Alzheimer's disease and to discover the therapeutic kitchen and the pedal of reinforcement financed by the foundation.

Concert in front of 200 residents

"It's thanks to the foundation that we were able to create this kitchen and invest in equipment dedicated to residents," says Aurore Grimaud, director of the establishment.

Back in the hall of the hospital, the singer gave a concert in front of more than 200 residents, families of residents and staff. "It is important for us to go to the Ehpad and see what we have financed," says Danuta Pieter, General Delegate of the Hospitals of Paris Hospitals of France Foundation.
