"He started his career at the age of 12 years as an assistant in the nursing department at Al Maktoum Hospital in 1951 and was an assistant to the first generation of doctors who were providing their services in light of the modest potential at the time," Hatmi told Emirates Today.

"I continued my work at Al Maktoum Hospital for 15 years. I then moved to Rashid Hospital in Dubai since its inception. I moved from all departments, staff, volunteer, assistant doctors, and continued my work at the hospital until today."

He stressed that «career - which reached the age of 55 in a row - did not witness a one-day absence from work, or delayed for a few minutes, and the absence of his job portfolio of any functional sanctions».

Hattami received many awards and honors, most notably the 'Unknown Soldier' ​​award in 2013, which was honored by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
