The weather will be less rainy Friday but will remain cloudy over most of France.

Friday, at the beginning of the day, the rainy front will evacuate towards the east, indicates Meteo-France in its last bulletin. It will be raining again in Alsace, in the South-East and on the alpine chain, the snow-rain limit being at 1000 m on the north of the Alps, at 1800 m on the south. The weather will remain unstable, however, with the predominance of cloudy conditions.

A pretty heavy sky

In the eastern part of the country, some clearings will occur with a chance of showers. From Basse-Normandie to Nouvelle-Aquitaine, it will be expected at first to frequent and stormy showers especially on Aquitaine. But clearings will reach these regions in the afternoon and the rains will become scattered. On the regions, North, Île-de-France, Burgundy-Franche-Comté, Central East and down to Occitania and PACA, the sky will remain well charged with frequent storm showers, especially on the Southwest. The precipitation will be in the form of snow, between 1200 and 1500 m, on the reliefs.

On the Gulf of Lion, with the reinforcement of the Tramontane, the weather will be dry and the clearings will dominate widely. They will progress in the afternoon to the Var coast.

Wind and mercury

For the wind, a moderate Tramontane will be established over the hours with gusts on the Aude and the Pyrenees Orientales around 70-90 km / h. In Corsica, the southwest wind will strengthen moderately. The minimum temperatures will be 3 to 10 degrees, up to 14 locally on the Mediterranean coasts. The maximums will vary from 11 to 19 degrees, for 20 in the Var.
