The wife of Peter Chérif, a fugitive suspected of jihadism, was expelled in the night of Saturday to Sunday of Djibouti, and then stopped upon his arrival at the airport Charles-de-Gaulle in Paris. This arrest puts an end to a seven year run for this man from the jihadist sector of Buttes-Chaumont.

The wife of Peter Chérif is in the hands of the French police. Placed in custody, this woman was expelled in the night from Saturday to Sunday from Djibouti to France. There, the Directorate General of Higher Intelligence was waiting for him, a process that avoided going through extradition.

For the moment, the spouse of Peter Chérif has not been indicted. His two children accompanied him, they were supported by the Child Welfare, competent for minor children of people suspected of jihadism.

The man, it is well under the blow of an indictment . The motive: criminal criminal conspiracy to reoffend. In Yemen, where he fled in 2011, he was in charge of Aqpa, al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. He had himself been expelled from Djibouti a little over a week ago.

Peter Cherif was also close to the Kouachi brothers, who perpetrated the attack on the Charlie Hebdo newspaper in January 2015. He remained in contact with them after his escape.

When Peter Cherif and his family were found, they were probably planning to leave for Algeria, his wife's home country. They had joined Djibouti after fleeing Yemen for some unknown reason.
