Khalil Mabrouk - Istanbul

Turkish authorities have intensified their search for the body of the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, or parts of it, in three areas: the Belgrade Forest, the Bandak district of Istanbul and the nearby city of Yelwa overlooking the Marmara Sea.

All the forests of Belgrade and the city of Yelwa are tourist areas and very famous areas of Turkey, while the Bandak region is a normal and large residential area in the Asian part of Istanbul.

Investigators chose the three areas of research after it was found that 16 cars belonging to the Saudi consulate went to Khashoggi's disappearance.

It is still too early to judge whether Turkish security is more likely to be present in one of the three regions, given the severe rigor of transmitting sensitive information related to the Khashoggi case.

But several readings suggest more access to the clues of the Saudi journalist's body in the Belgrade forests.

The vast "Belgrade" forests are a popular tourist destination in Istanbul (the island)

According to the Turkish news site "Manchet", Khashoggi's body search team collected all the contents of the cameras recorded in the forest on the arrival of Saudi consulate cars following the disappearance of the Saudi media.

The website said that the team is currently studying these records and discussing them to clarify whether they are providing any new evidence that the body can be found in the area.

The forests of Belgrade are the largest vegetation cover in Istanbul, with an area of 5,500 hectares connected to each other, with more than 3,000 species of trees, about 20 km from the city center.

The Black Sea forest area covers a high-altitude vegetation covered by oak trees. Its topography varies between flatness and rugged elevation, which limits the horizon and waterways.

The tourist behavior in the Belgrade forests increases the chances of taking a place to hide the "secret of crime". The number of parkers is less than the number of working days, holidays, holidays and winter days, as was the case on Tuesday, 2 October. Khashoggi was killed less than seven minutes after entering his consulate in Istanbul.

A number of activists on social networking platforms have published comic comments about the possibility of concealing Khashoggi's body in the forests of Belgrade, saying the Saudis have linked the use of forests to barbecue and its use for slaughter.

The Marmara Basin
Unlike the forests of Belgrade, the Pendek area on the Sea of Marmara is a large residential area of about 700,000 inhabitants. It is a modern and organized urban area and contains many monuments of ancient covenants and the Ottoman period.

Yalwa is a small tourist town two and a half hours away from Istanbul, with a distance of 175 km, with more than 200,000 inhabitants.

Saudi Arabia has an impressive investment presence in the city where real estate is flourishing and sold to Arab investors, who have the lion's share.

It is reported that Yalwa is at the top of the list of Turkish cities in terms of safe real estate investment and huge revenues due to the city's important strategic and tourist location and ease of buying and selling transactions.

Media reports and eyewitnesses confirmed that the Turkish inspection team was carrying bags and sealed boxes that were taken out of the Saudi consul's house after being searched recently, before investigations were conducted to search the three areas.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mouloud Gawishoglu pledged on Friday that his country would complete the investigation into Khashoggi's case and inform the world of its findings, stressing that his country had evidence and evidence of the crime.
