Erdogan suggested that Trump create a working group on the S-400

The contract for the air defense system led to disagreements between Turkey and the United States.

At the end of March, a group of US senators submitted a bill that prohibits the transfer of F-35 fighters to the Turkish side until it abandons the plan to buy the C-400.

The United States later urged Turkey to choose between NATO security and the C-400 deal.
