The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, condemned and condemned the double terrorist attack which targeted mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, on Friday, leaving about 50 people dead and dozens of wounded worshipers.

In a telegram sent to New Zealand Governor Patsy Reddy, the Qatari Emir confirmed his country's position on terrorism and extremism, whatever the reasons and motives behind it.

He also offered his condolences to the innocent victims who were targeted today at the same time during Friday prayers.

We strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack on two mosques in New Zealand. We wish the martyrs a speedy recovery and to inspire their families with patience and patience. We wish the speedy recovery of the wounded.

Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman al-Thani, in a tweet on Twitter, strongly condemned the massacre of Christians in Christchurch and described the attack as a heinous terrorist.

The minister described the victims of the massacre of martyrs, and asked them mercy, wishing the healing of the injured.
