At least 25 people were injured in the explosion at a church in Sri Lanka today.

According to local media and foreign media, explosions occurred almost simultaneously in one of the Catholic churches in Colombo, capital of Sri Lanka today, and in three major hotels with foreign visitors.

The hotel where the explosion took place is the 5-star hotel with the foreign visitors both in the Shinanomon Grand Hotel, the Shangri-La Hotel, and the Kingsbury Hotel nearby the premises.

At the same time, an explosion occurred at the restaurant in the Cinamon Grand Hotel.

A similar eruption occurred in one of the Catholic churches of Negombo in northern Colombo and in one of the Christian churches in Batticaloa on the eastern coast.

A local police official says more than 60 people have been killed in the Catholic Church of Negombo.

At least 25 people have died in the Christian church of Batticaloa.

Among the casualties caused by the blast, it is reported that there are not many foreigners.
