According to Tusk, a peaceful change of government and free elections are evidence of a strong democracy in Ukraine.

Earlier in the CEC of Ukraine published the first election results.

So, after processing 1.47% of the ballots, Vladimir Zelensky gets 70.82% of the votes, Petro Poroshenko - 26.82%.

The US Embassy in Ukraine and Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurtz have already congratulated Zelensky on the election victory.
