The Public Transport Agency at the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai recently launched six new public bus lines and developed another route to strengthen the public bus network within the emirate and with other emirates, in line with the growing demand for public bus services.

Adel Shakeri, Director of Planning and Business Development at the Public Transport Agency, stressed the company's keenness to expand and develop the bus network within Dubai and the network of buses linking Dubai with the other emirates, pointing out that it conducts field studies and surveys from time to time to identify the needs of mass transit users In the Emirate of mass transit services, to meet them as soon as possible.

Shakri explained that the new six bus lines are: E411, which starts from Etisalat Metro Station to Ajman, F02 from Etisalat Metro Station to Muhaisnah, and 50 from World City to China Market Station. (Horses Gate 1) through Silicon Oasis, Mall of Dubai and Business Bay. We also reduced the flow time from (60) minutes to (30) minutes on line (F55) between the Ibn Battuta metro station and Al Maktoum airport ».

He added: "The other three new lines will be operated on Fridays only: line (118) from Al Rashidiya Metro Station to Al Aweer Bus Station and line (34) from Etisalat Metro Station to the workers' housing Bryan Al Khawaneej (2) Al Qusais, line (56) from Danube metro station to Dubai World Village staff ».
