Dubai Municipality has implemented a plan to double the green area in Dubai from 3,700 hectares to 7,800 hectares over the next three years, among roads, gardens and fields, including 500 hectares around the city of Dubai Expo. More than 110 countries and international organizations are participating. The UAE, which is the first of its kind to showcase the efforts of the founding father of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, is keen to develop the agricultural sector and reflect the vision of leadership in its development and enhancement.

Al-Hajri said that Dubai Municipality has the latest and best technologies in the field of cosmetic agriculture, including vertical farming, stressing that there is a great focus by the Municipality on expanding the greening to all the cities and regions of Dubai.

"It is expected that we will complete the greening of all the areas surrounding Expo before September 2020, and therefore large companies will be required to accomplish this task in record time, and Dubai Municipality has the latest technologies and sustainable methods of agriculture and irrigation in the Worsan nursery."

The 1850 square meter pavilion (80% of which is in the shape of a garden) presents the development of the country's agricultural sector and is based on the legacy of the late founding father Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Greening the desert.

The National Media Council, in its design, was based on the basic principles of the national pavilion, including the natural environment, palm trees and traditional agriculture, agricultural oases, and the achievements and innovations of the state in agriculture.

Two Emirati children attract visitors to Expo

The National Media Council used the child Salma Al Ameri (9 years) and Ahmed Al Marzouqi (11 years old) from Hamdan Bin Zayed School in Abu Dhabi to attract visitors to the UAE pavilion to master the Chinese language they teach at school.
