The Cabinet, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, adopted the UAE National Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2031 during a meeting at the Presidential Palace yesterday in the presence of HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.

The UAE National Artificial Intelligence Strategy has strategic features and objectives to make the UAE a world leader in artificial intelligence by 2031 and to develop an integrated system that employs artificial intelligence in vital areas of the country.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum said that the UAE is moving forward to achieve its vision and aspirations through clear projects and plans for the UAE centennial.

"We started the government transition 18 years ago with electronic services, and today we are embarking on a new phase in which our sectors and future structures depend on artificial intelligence," he said.

"We have launched a national strategy for artificial intelligence, one of our projects for the year 2071. We want artificial intelligence to be present in our business, our lives and our government services."

The Council of Ministers adopted the UAE National Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2031, to make the UAE a world leader in artificial intelligence by 2031.

The strategy includes eight strategic goals and a number of initiatives and trends aimed at employing artificial intelligence and contributing to the development of vital areas such as education, economy, government development and community happiness. The strategy is overseen by the Emirates Council for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transactions in collaboration with UAE local and federal partners.

The strategy includes eight strategic objectives: to establish the state's position as a destination for artificial intelligence, to increase its competitiveness in priority sectors through the development of artificial intelligence, to develop a fertile artificial intelligence system, to adopt customer services, and to improve the standard of living and government performance.

The Council of Ministers adopted during its meeting the National Strategy for Integrated Chemicals Management aimed at upgrading chemicals management systems, achieving a unified approach at the national level, reducing its health and environmental impacts, and managing associated risks according to international best practices. In the legislative affairs, the Council adopted a number of federal decisions and laws within the framework of the organization of government work. The decisions included the preparation of a draft federal law to amend some provisions of the Law of Organization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the amendment of some articles of the Federal Law on the Diplomatic and Consular Service, Institutional development.

During its meeting, the Board adopted the UAE System for the Control of Textile Products in the context of raising the quality of products and developing technical regulations and regulatory systems in the field of safety and health protection.

The Council approved the granting of a school administration allowance to the managers of the owners of Hameem centers in the Ministry of Community Development in order to enhance the participation of the national workforce and develop its capabilities and increase efficiency, flexibility and productivity.

The Cabinet reviewed and reviewed a number of recommendations of the Federal National Council on the subject of the policy of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection and the policy of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, as well as the request of the Federal National Council to discuss the policy of the Ministry of Economy.
