The main theme is “Arctic. Ocean of opportunity. The business program consists of three main global areas. These are the tracks “Coastal Areas”, “Open Ocean” and “Sustainable Development”.

Sessions, panel discussions and round tables will be held within the framework of the “Coastal Territories” track. Participants will discuss a new system of preferences for investment projects in the Arctic, measures to support the Arctic small and medium-sized businesses, the process of digitalization of the Arctic territories, Arctic medicine, the development of aviation in the Arctic, the potential of Arctic tourism and other topics.

In the international session “Talking Barents: Prospects and Formats of Cooperation”, the representatives of Sweden, Norway, Finland, Norway and Russia will discuss cooperation in the Barents / Euro-Arctic region. The moderator of the discussion is the head of the International Barents Secretariat, Thomas Hallberg.

The track "Open Ocean" includes such thematic blocks as "The Northern Sea Route - the key to the development of the Russian Arctic", "Achievements and Innovations of Shipbuilding", "Production and Use of Liquefied Natural Gas", "Transport Relationship: Arctic, Far East, Siberia Ural ”,“ Development of the Arctic shelf: potential and risks ”and“ Development of the infrastructure of the northern ports ”.

One of the key events will be the session on the Northern Sea Route. Alexander Kozlov, Minister for Development of the Far East, Konstantin Kosachev, Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the Federation Council, Alexey Likhachev, Director General of Rosatom, and others will speak at it.

The track “Sustainable Development” is dedicated to raising the social and social level of the Arctic regions. Among the announced topics are “National projects in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation: implementation mechanisms”, “Arctic of the future: sustainable solutions”, “Natural-like technologies for the needs of the Arctic”, “Applied research in the Arctic”, “Dialogue of Arctic researchers”, “Preparing specialists for the development of the region ”and“ Accessible Arctic: standards, safety, environmental friendliness ”.

Earlier it was reported that the Prime Minister of Norway Erna Solberg will lead the official delegation of the country at the International Arctic Forum.
