British MPs voted for the greater role of parliament in the process of Brexit

The deputies adopted the corresponding amendment on March 25 in the evening.

The deputies are expected to express their attitude, including on such radical ideas as the refusal of a bresite, holding a second referendum and leaving the EU without an agreement.

Earlier, British Prime Minister Theresa May said that the parliament on March 27 will vote on a bill to postpone the Brexit date from March 29 to a later date.

In January, the head of the Center for British Studies at the Institute of Europe, RAS, Elena Ananyeva, in an interview with NSN, assessed the prospects for May to remain in power.
