A TV duel between British Prime Minister Theresa May and opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn will not come to fruition before the Brexit vote in the House on December 11th.
After the BBC also the transmitter ITV said appropriate plans for this Sunday. May wanted to appear at the BBC to promote her Brexit deal.
Such TV duels are only available in parliamentary elections. On television, May wanted to face the opposition leader. (Read all about the background to the vote.) Labourchef Corbyn favored another format at ITV, with a spokesman for Mays accusing the alto-left of "running away from fear" running away from the TV debate.
