Bolton discussed with the Swedish Foreign Minister the situation in the Arctic

"Today, excellent talks were held with Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Vahlstrom on the issue of transatlantic and global security, on the Arctic, on telecommunications security," Bolton wrote on his Twitter.

He also stressed that he was glad to cooperate with Sweden, which is “an important partner for the United States.”

Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said that the Arctic is a region of international cooperation despite attempts to raise the issue of its militarization.
