The UAE Red Crescent Authority has launched a number of development projects in the Republic of Sierra Leone.

This is in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region.

The projects included water resources in the areas where there is scarcity in this vital facility. The project provides 60% of the needs of these areas of clean water, as well as housing for poor families, schools, clinics, mosques and other service projects aimed at improving the lives of the residents there.

Dr. Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi, Secretary General of the Authority, affirmed that the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have been part of the initiatives taken by the leadership to develop and reconstruct areas and areas that suffer in the fields of vital development. His dream to live a decent life.

He stressed that the Commission has completed these projects in record time to achieve leadership vision and meet the needs of the arena in Sierra Leone, and enhance the ability of parents to get their necessary requirements without hardship or trouble, and said that attention to projects to provide clean and clean water is a priority because it is linked to human health and the environment around him.

The water project in the Republic of Sierra Leone includes the drilling of 287 artesian and solar water wells, as well as ground tanks that provide 60% of the potable water, and benefit the people in many areas, in addition to the use in agriculture and livestock.
