The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department has announced the release of the UAE Constitution in Braille, the first of its kind, and the first of its legal versions in Braille.

The Department affirmed that the publication comes within the framework of its efforts to spread the legal culture in the society through an integrated methodology that relies on effective communication with all groups, pointing to its strategic vision on the importance of legal culture in strengthening the rule of law and stability and renaissance of society.

The department's deputy, Advisor Yousuf Saeed Al-Abri, released yesterday the Department's booth at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Zayed Higher Foundation for the owners of Al-Hamam, Abdullah Al-Humaidan.

Al-Ibri stressed that the Judicial Department is working according to an integrated plan to support stakeholders, provide specialized justice and judicial services to meet their needs, in addition to many social responsibility projects, including awareness raising and dissemination of legal culture. Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Head of the Judicial Department in Abu Dhabi, to spread the legal culture in the community, with the formulation of awareness messages for each category to meet their real needs, and commensurate with the interests and directions of their members.

Al-Ibri praised the cooperation and complementarity between the Department and the Foundation, which resulted in a number of joint projects to serve the stakeholders, the most important of which is the electronic link project for the simultaneous translation of Deaf and Mute, in addition to awareness campaigns.

Al-Humaidan said that the institution is one of the implementing institutions of government policies and programs to serve the rehabilitation, care and education of stakeholders, and to achieve the Government's goal in the Abu Dhabi Government's 2030 policy agenda, adding that it is investing considerable support from the leadership to achieve qualitative steps in this area for the benefit of stakeholders and their families.

Quality initiatives

The Zayed Foundation is intensifying its efforts during the current phase, through its strategic partnerships with local and federal agencies and government and private companies, to launch initiatives that achieve qualitative leapfrogging in the service and care of stakeholders, Quality and distinctive services, applying the latest advanced treatments worldwide, and developing the means of care and rehabilitation according to the best international practices, to enable them and integrate them with the rest of society at different levels of social, educational, economic and Cultural activities.

The Foundation welcomed the cooperation with the various institutions and institutions in the country that wish to transfer their brochures to Braille, with the aim of integrating the blind in a cultural and social manner, in order to provide quality and distinctive services to the blind.
