A suspect in a series of attacks on women was detained in Moscow

"The operatives of the Main Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, together with colleagues from Tolyatti and employees of the linear department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the Moscow-Ryazanskaya station, detained a 22-year-old resident of Tolyatti who was suspected of attacking women," TASS said.

The Interior Ministry added that all the attacks were committed on the territory of the Samara region. According to the investigation, the suspect lurked victims in deserted places and entrances. He hurt them and hid them.

According to a law enforcement agency source, a man is suspected of seven attacks on women.

Earlier in the Novosibirsk region, a serial killer was sentenced to life.
