The Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai has adopted an updated framework for the organization of school fees for private schools in the Emirate, which will enter into force from the next school year.

The framework does not allow fees to be raised for private schools with low educational quality, according to the Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) supervisory board, while private schools that maintain the same valuation over the previous year can adjust their school fees by the same cost of education only. The updated framework for organizing school fees is an integrated system that balances the needs of the parents of the students on the one hand and helps private schools continue to improve the quality of education on the other, in keeping with Dubai's status as an international and regional destination that attracts learning and learning.

The updated framework is based on the annual assessment of the Dubai School Inspectorate and the cost-of-education index adopted by the Dubai Statistics Center (DSC) as part of its move to encourage private schools to enhance their quality and reward them if they can improve the quality of education offered.

According to the quality indicators of private schools in Dubai over the past years, about 90% of students will not exceed the potential school fees for their children's schools in 2019-2020. The cost of education index of 2.07%.

With the implementation of the updated framework, the potential increase in school fees will exceed the cost of education index of less than 10% of students.
