Traffic police in the Chinese city of Liuzhou were traumatized after discovering that a motorcycle driver had a handwritten paper bearing his image as a driver's license. Counterfeit official documents are common practice around the world, but in the vast majority of cases, people try to make sure that their fraud seems as real as possible. The protagonist, however, was keen to include all the necessary details on his fake driver's license, although all he did was handwritten on a piece of paper, in the hope that this would be enough to deceive the police.

When Liuzhou police stopped a silver motorcycle during routine surveillance, days ago, officers did not expect to see this "fake" license throughout their careers. The driver, nicknamed "Tang," was certainly not nervous when officers asked for his documents. The driver's license itself had a regular cover, so there was nothing suspicious.

He acted very quietly when I took out the license, says a traffic police officer. "The license cover was good, but I was shocked when I saw what was inside."

When the officer asked Tang whether he was making fun of him, he quietly explained that he was too lazy to learn to get a driver's license and did not want to spend money on driving lessons anyway; so he decided that the handwriting license was better than none. Tang said he had a real cover, believing that if he faced the police, he could show him to let him go.

"I have been a police officer for several years, but I have never seen such a driver's license," said the police officer. "Because the mandatory screening process was much delayed, the police confiscated the motorcycle and asked him to check the traffic department the next day.

Pictures of the handwritten driving license appeared on Chinese social networking sites, and received thousands of funny comments.
