The Human Resources Department in Ras Al Khaimah launched yesterday the One Day Employment Initiative with the participation of seven government and private entities at the American University in Ras Al Khaimah, where the participants provided 31 vacancies for job seekers.

The Director General of the Department, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Latif Khalifa, said in a press statement that the department deals with the Emiratisation file through the implementation of the Ras Al Khaimah 2030 Government Strategy. The aim of the initiative is to provide job seekers with job vacancies.

He explained that the one-day initiative will be repeated during the year if successful in the settlement of the largest number of jobs offered, pointing out that seven partners in the public and private sectors responded to the initiative, and offered vacancies.

He added that the department used its database of job seekers, and continued with 75 citizens and citizenship, and offered 31 vacancies suitable for their specializations and aspirations. Also, job seekers from high school graduates were interviewed for open interviews in jobs that do not require specializations, Vacancies in reception, sales and field work. He explained that the Department is working to strengthen the citizen looking for work through the axis of empowerment, by persuading him to accept interviews, and training on the strategy of job search, and subject to training courses on how to deal with the labor market.

The One Day Employment Initiative has witnessed a remarkable turnout for female researchers in work due to their interest in working within the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and the difficulty of traveling far away from the Emirate.

The Director General of the Human Resources Department in Ras Al Khaimah, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Latif Khalifa, said that three agreements have been signed with the Economic Zones Authority (RAKAS), Ras Al Khaimah National Bank and Emirates Foundation for Youth Development in the area of ​​Emiratisation and job creation for job seekers.
