Director of the Dubai Academy for the Future, Saeed Al Gergawi, said that 50% of the participants in the programs and lectures of the Academy are citizens, pointing out that there is currently a focus on providing participants with the skills needed to deal with the future functions imposed by the artificial intelligence revolution.

Al-Gergawi told Emirates Today that women make up 60% of the citizens participating in the activities of the foundation, stressing that they are more passionate about getting to know things related to the future.

He revealed during a press conference yesterday, in which the future activities of the Academy, that there are 2500 people benefited from the programs of the Academy so far, including 1000 people from the series of training pioneers, which held its first session last Ramadan, pointing out that there is a preference of participants for programs and lectures that Related to the financial aspects, such as Block Qin technology, as well as developments in the areas of staff work.

He said that the Academy has a tendency to cooperate with the Ministry of Education to design programs that suit students. The link between them and universities and schools will be available through an application launched by the Academy in early Ramadan. He emphasized the launch of a series of initiatives and knowledge projects to develop the future skills of young people, innovators, entrepreneurs, school students, universities, government officials and all segments of society, including the second annual series of pioneers during Ramadan, in which the Minister of State for Culture and Knowledge Development, Noura al-Kaabi, and a number of government officials and experts.

"These initiatives aim to highlight a range of future developments and initiatives that will have a clear impact on the future of the UAE and the world in many future sectors.

The second edition of the summer camp for robotics and 3D printing will be launched in the second half of July to provide students aged 12 to 20 with critical thinking and teamwork skills to enable them to lead future sectors and introduce them to 3D design applications and technology , Robots and programming, which are key tools for future sector development.
