Ajman Traffic Police Director Colonel Saif Abdullah Al Falasi confirmed today that Emirates Al-Youm has registered 14,837 new vehicles since the beginning of this year until the end of October. He also stressed that the electronic and intelligent services provided by Ajman Police - through its intelligent application and its electronic website to achieve traffic and licensing services more quickly, to save time and effort on the customers - were well received by the customers.

He added that the number of properties that were renewed through the service of "electronic renewal of the vehicle," since the beginning of this year until the beginning of November, amounted to 39 thousand ownership vehicles, pointing out that the launch of new electronic traffic services enabled vehicle owners and holders of licenses issued licenses for any department of Traffic and licensing departments deployed in the country, to complete the services of licensing of vehicles and drivers, except registration procedures and new versions.

Al-Falasi explained that the provision of these services comes within the framework of activating the Federal Traffic and Licensing System project, as directed by HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, to provide services to the Ministry's clients in their places of presence.

He added that the activation of the vehicle control expired through the cameras system «Ajman Dar Al Aman», achieved its objectives since the first month of activation, as it enabled the police to control many vehicles expired license, pointing out that the cameras control the owner of the vehicle one month after the end of its license.

He pointed out that the deadline, which is estimated a month, comes within the framework of the police to give the opportunity to the owner of the vehicle before the end of the insurance of the vehicle to license, in order to enhance traffic safety by limiting the number of vehicles expired license, stressing that the system covers the roads of the emirate with high-resolution surveillance cameras .

He called on the drivers to renew the license of their vehicles to be completed in time, in order to avoid any risks resulting from the end of license vehicles in the event of accidents, as a result of non-coverage by insurance companies for the cost of the accident.
