The suspects of a series of bombings in Sri Lanka were arrested yesterday after Christian Easter Sunday. It is not clear who they are or whether there is another, but the death toll has continued to rise to over 220.

Sri Lanka's military authorities are investigating 13 suspected Sri Lankans as a suspect in a series of bombings, Xinhua News Agency and AP reported.

They were reportedly caught at the scene of the last bombing, and some of the Sri Lankan police were killed during the arrest.

In Sri Lanka's capital, Colombo, Eight explosions took place yesterday at one of the Catholic churches and three at the hotel, as well as the neighboring Negombo and Eastern Batikarova churches.

The death toll has continued to increase to at least 220 people dead and more than 450 injured to date.

[Shishira / Doctor: I was informed that a big explosion had happened and I went to the church by an ambulance. I moved the injured people to the hospital.]

Among the casualties were many foreigners including Americans.

Sri Lanka suspects the terrorist group is a member of the radical Islamic group "National Tau Hitsamatu", a group of Christians.

Major countries including the United States and Russia have issued a series of condemnations to criticize the terrorism.

However, there are no organizations or powers that have yet to master the case.

The Sri Lankan government issued a curfew and blocked major social media and messengers like Facebook to prevent further terrorism.
