Acting First Deputy Governor of the Vladimir Region, Marina Chekunova, initiated general cleaning at the hospital in Strunino. This medical institution and the official herself found themselves in the center of the media scandal after the day before Chekunova advised the hospital staff to wash the floors in it and hang clean curtains.

"On Monday, the Strunninsky polyclinic will hold a general cleaning by the staff, volunteers and employees of the health department," said Tass Chekunova.

Recall, on Friday, January 11, during a meeting with the hospital staff, Strunina, an official, called on the staff of the medical institution to jointly organize his work, and not rely only on the Ministry of Health and the regional administration.

“We must also look at ourselves. The curtains on the windows, how they hang, what cleanliness, when the windows were washed for the last time, how the floors are washed, whether there are shoe covers. If you need free shoe covers, let us provide, ”said Chekunova.

In the course of her speech, the team of the first Deputy Governor of the Vladimir Region reported to the hospital staff about the results of the meeting held last week in the Federal Ministry of Health with the participation of Deputy Minister Tatyana Yakovleva, during which they also touched upon the problems of Strunino health care.

“They prepared information for Veronika Igorevne Skvortsova (Minister of Health of the Russian Federation - RT ) about the execution of the presidential order. All information verified thoroughly. We can not deceive the president. The work was serious. Assess work in numbers is not easy. There is no tragedy, but many moments and figures in the statistics depend on us, on the work of the registry. You have not cleared the rapids. Registry with grid. Open it. Clean the entrance panel. Change the posters, remove uncleaned, not watered flowers. Do it carefully. The hospital begins with a nurse, with a doctor. The doctor is a sample of a white starched lab coat. It is not difficult. This does not require large funds, ”the Governor's SEC quotes Chekunov.

Also, the Acting First Deputy Governor stated the importance of continuing work on teaching computer literacy to physicians, pointed out the need to monitor the employment of graduates of the Vladimir Medical College and promised to work on the issue of additional transport links between Strunin and Aleksandrov.

“Strunino is a territorial-scale television series, and for the Vladimir region it is not with a plus sign.” I don’t think that the residents of a district or region should be proud of it ... We hope that later, maybe a year, the situation will be corrected, ”Chekunova said.

The working meeting was also attended by the head of the regional Ministry of Health Alexey Mozalev, representatives of the administration of the Aleksandrovsky district and the hospital management.

In turn, the staff of the Strunninsky hospital asked the officials about the fate of the adult polyclinic, as well as about the closure of a number of hospital departments. It was this question that was raised at the federal level in the summer of 2018, when city residents turned to Vladimir Putin with the president during the “Direct Line”.

“This medical institution should function as a modern and really assist people. What is there to preserve, in what volume, it will need to be solved at the regional level with the governor, with the municipal authorities with the support of the Ministry of Health, ”the president said.

Then the head of state ordered the Ministry of Health and the regional authorities to resolve this issue and report on the overhaul until December 31, 2018. However, in late December, the regional governor Vladimir Sipagin, who replaced Svetlana Orlova in the post in October, asked the Ministry of Health to postpone the execution of these instructions to December 2019.

The press service of the administration of the Vladimir region reported that at the moment most of the work scheduled for 2018 in the Strunninsky hospital is over. In particular, the renovation of buildings in the psycho-neurological and dermatological-neurological departments was completed, the work in the building of the children's clinic is being completed.

“All the necessary medical equipment was purchased (the last contract was signed on December 25) and is gradually being installed on the premises. Due to objective reasons, the time for capital repairs was extended until the end of 2019 in two hospital buildings. The regional budget for these purposes pledged the necessary funds, ”- reported in the regional administration on January 9.

They also noted that specialists had studied in detail the requirements of local residents for the opening of the dermatovenerological and psycho-neurological departments for 26 and 40 beds, respectively. However, the real need for inpatient facilities of this profile has not been confirmed - from September 1, 2018, Strunino did not have a single acute treatment of the psycho-neurological and dermatological profile requiring inpatient treatment. At the same time in the city are receiving a dermatologist and a psychiatrist.

Representatives of regional authorities point out that allocating funding for empty beds and unclaimed beds is not appropriate. In addition, the allocation of money for this item of expenditure will not allow to attract doctors who are really needed by the city in Strunino.

We add that on January 14, on behalf of the Minister of Health, the chief psychiatrist of the Ministry of Health Zurab Kekelidze, head of the department of dermatology, cosmetology and venereology of the Russian Academy of Continuing Professional Education Alexey Kubanov and representatives of Roszdravnadzor. They will study the work of the dermatological and psycho-neurological departments of the Strunino hospital.

Commenting on the prospects for the building of an adult polyclinic, Pavel Panfilov, adviser to the governor on social issues, said that the conclusion on this score is not yet ready. According to the results of the building survey, a decision will be made on the possibility and feasibility of its preservation and resuscitation through capital repairs. If it is decided to abandon these measures, as one of the solutions to the problem, the outpatient department may be transferred to the building of the therapeutic building in the hospital campus.

In turn, Chekunova noted that the presence of a black mold in the corridors of the clinic indicates damage to the supporting structures. They will be replaced with metal beams, if experts confirm the availability of such a possibility.

Despite the fact that Chekunova’s words about the need to start with the question of improving the health situation were actually taken out of context by many media, they still caused a wave of outrage in social networks and found a definite response in the media space.

According to the Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Vladimir Region, Vyacheslav Kartukhin, such an attitude towards people is in any case unacceptable, and Chekunova should apologize to the hospital staff.

“Such an attitude towards people, towards the population is inadmissible in any case. Of course, it is necessary to apologize, because the task of the officials is to solve problems, and not to blame the citizens themselves for the problems, ”TASS said.

At the same time, he noted that these statements will be taken into account in the course of agreeing candidates for the positions of deputy governors of the Vladimir region, which will be held in the Legislative Assembly.

In turn, the parliamentarian of the regional legislative assembly, Roman Kavinov, noted that in order to express his point of view, the official should have chosen less emotional expressions.

“Maybe Marina Anatolevna was worried, so she took that tone. She is an experienced person and, of course, could be less emotional, ”said Kavinov.
