Abu Dhabi Social Development Program (ADSD) announced that the Abu Dhabi Social Support Program includes divorcees and widows from UAE nationals who hold a registration copy issued by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, subject to the conditions and criteria of the program.

The program allows each family member in Abu Dhabi, with a registration copy issued by the Emirate (including divorcees and widows), to submit the application. The program's terms and conditions will be applied to them and the appropriate decision will be issued.

The program explained that the program does not include financial defaulters and those who suffer from debt accumulation. The program is considered to the total monthly income of all members of the household without counting any deductions. Consequently, it does not include the financial defaulters due to the accumulation of debts. Income until March 31, and will pay financial support to applicants through this phase in April, and retroactively until last January.

The Department noted that the social support program is continuing and will not stop at the end of the first phase on 31 March. The program has been launched in stages to ensure the best service to the public, pointing out that the program is directed to the family as a whole and not to everyone in the family. The Department confirmed through its website that all requests are subject to a verification and review process by the program to determine the applicability of the conditions to the applicant and his family, and then to issue the appropriate decision. The Abu Dhabi Social Support Program calculates the income of the family according to the number of its members. The monthly amount of the head of household is calculated at 7450 dirhams and the amount of spending per family member over the age of 14 years is 3725 dirhams. 3 Sources of income

According to the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi, the household income account is based on three sources, including fixed income, non-fixed income and social benefits, indicating that the fixed income includes the calculation of the total income of the national family, in view of all its members, Income derived from a business license or business license, and income from leased property, through proceeds (distribution of dividends), as well as interest on savings or deposits.
