Al-Emadi told Emirates Al-Youm that about 97% of the 85 teachers of the Dubai Autism Center, who do not have a master's degree, are in violation of the law, stipulating that they should obtain a master's degree for their appointment, while their high competence and field experience In the field of rehabilitation of autistic children.

"There is no single citizen working as a teacher at the Dubai Autism Center," he said.

Al-Emadi added that the Center's proposal was presented by the Board of Directors to a delegation of the Community Development Authority during a meeting held at the headquarters of the Center in Al Garhoud area. The delegation was attended by its delegation headed by its Director General Ahmed Abdulkarim Julfar and Board member Sami Al Riyami.

The meeting also discussed a mechanism to support cases that can not pay the fees, amounting to 60 thousand dirhams per year, while the Center is working to turn the matter to the Commission for consideration and take the necessary action, in preparation for assistance.

Al-Emadi said that the center represents a link between low-income families, one of whose members belong to the rehabilitation, and the body that considers the eligibility of cases to help.

He pointed out that the Center seeks to provide sustainable sources of income, ensuring the continued availability of operating costs, so as to reduce the fees paid by the students or to provide them free of charge completely, adding that «the operational cost is large, and the real cost per student per year is 120 thousand dirhams, 50% of them are targeted, and we aim to provide free services to the students.
