Sri Lanka's military authorities are investigating 13 suspected Sri Lankans as part of a series of bombings, Xinhua News Agency and AP reported.

The suspects were reportedly caught at the scene of the last bombing, and some of the Sri Lankan police officers were killed during the arrest.

Eight explosions took place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in one of the Catholic churches and three hotels in the Easter Sunday, as well as in neighboring Negombo and eastern Batticaloa churches.

[Nishapta / hotel security guard: There was the first explosion about 8:10. Soon after the second explosion, all the windows were broken.]

The death toll has continued to increase to at least 220 people dead and more than 450 injured to date.

[Shishira / Doctor: I was informed that a big explosion had happened and I went to the church by an ambulance. I moved the injured people to the hospital.]

Among the casualties were many foreigners including Americans.

Sri Lanka suspects the terrorist group is a member of the radical Islamic group "National Tau Hitsamatu", a group of Christians.

Major countries including the United States and Russia have issued a series of condemnations to criticize the terrorism.

However, there are no organizations or powers that have yet to master the case.

The Sri Lankan government issued a curfew to block further terrorism and blocked major social media and messengers like Facebook.
