North Korea has hosted an international event in Pyongyang on the topic of block chaining and cryptography, the US Free Asia Radio RFA quoted a pro-North Korean group today.

The Spanish-American Friendship Association will hold a 'Pyongyang Block Chain · Cryptography Conference' in Pyongyang from the 18th to the 25th.

This is the first time that North Korea has held related events as a technology to reduce the risk of hacking by distributing and processing data on various computers.

The event, which was originally scheduled for September last year, was postponed and more than 100 people from North Korea and other countries participated.

The block chain conference will be held from 22 to 23 days. During the rest of the year, visitors will visit Panmunjom, Kim Il Sung Plaza, Pyongyang Foreign Language University, and the Daedong River Beer Factory.

"We expect North Korea to develop relations with other countries as well as exchange and technical cooperation," the association said. "With the opinions of participants and the great interest of related experts and companies from all over the world, I will hold a second meeting with the president. "
