The Investigative Committee of Russia did not indict Tamara Permyakova, head of the polyclinic in Kirov, who was previously detained in connection with the death of a three-year-old girl left in an apartment.
“It was decided to abolish coercive measures in relation to the head of the polyclinic. In addition, the central office at the moment does not see any grounds for bringing the doctor to criminal responsibility, ”said the official representative of the department Svetlana Petrenko.
Permyakova was detained in the case of negligence of officials of the prevention and health authorities in connection with the death of a three-year-old girl, which her mother had left locked up for a week in the apartment. The investigation believed that the doctor did not respond in time when the girl stopped showing to the doctors. A day later, law enforcement officers released Permyakov.
“What did you think about first of all when they found out that they want to arrest you?”
- It was bewildering as if this was not happening to me. I could not answer what I was dangerous for others, that I should be put in custody.
- Is it true that the last time the nurse came to their home, they answered through the intercom that the family did not live there anymore?
- Yes, the district nurse was told that they had left. From the birth of the child and up to eight months, he was regularly observed, analyzes were taken. Therefore, medical workers did not get the impression that this is a dysfunctional family.
- Tell us about the duty therapist who observed the deceased child.
- Olga Borisovna has been working for a very long time, and I hope that she will remain in the profession for a long time. She is a wonderful person: kind, sympathetic, never raises her voice.
- They say that because of this story, her health has deteriorated?
- Now she is in the hospital. We support her.

- I was banned, explaining that I should not try to influence someone.
- Did you expect the medical community to support you?
- I was surprised at the scale of this support. Literally everything responded and defended the doctors, and I did not expect it. I would like to thank all my colleagues. I am happy that so many people have responded to disaster - in word and deed. I want to say a special thank you to the Ministry of Health, the government of the Kirov region and the governor for taking the time to get into my situation and solve this problem.
- Have you returned to work?
- So far I am on sick leave, but I will soon return to work and continue to help children. Hope to see all my colleagues at work.
- Did you conclude from these events any conclusion for yourself?
- I think that we, doctors, need to get legal knowledge - the time has come.
On the tragedy in Kirov, which caused a public outcry, it became known on February 20. The 21-year-old mother of a child, who left her daughter alone for a few days in an apartment without food and water, is currently under arrest - a criminal case of murder was opened with special cruelty. The body of the girl was found by her grandmother, who came to congratulate the child on her birthday.
