The Director General of Foreign Affairs and Ports Affairs at the Authority, Major General Saeed Rakan Al-Rashdi said that the introduction of this type of visa came within the directives of the wise leadership of the State to facilitate the violators who took advantage of the initiative and expressed their desire to stay on the land of the UAE and not to leave, by giving them a new opportunity to search for A job that allows them to stay legally, provided that they register on the "Job Seekers" platform established in cooperation between the Commission and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

The Commission has granted this category of applicants to "protect yourself" a temporary six-month temporary residence visa for the existence of the sponsor, after the full exemption from all fines resulting from them.

Al-Rashidi added that the "job seeker" visa will be treated as a residence permit. A fine of AED 100 will be imposed on the first day of the violation, followed by a fine of 25 dirhams for every day of delay. And to abide by it by leaving the state in the event that he can not secure a job opportunity and take advantage of the opportunity in this case, which is to facilitate his procedures and not to include his name on the list of deprivation, which allows him to return to the State on a new visa in accordance with established procedures.

Al-Rashedi pointed out that the law does not allow the holder of this visa to work except in the case of obtaining a work opportunity in legal ways and in accordance with the procedures followed in this regard. He called on citizens, residents and investors to avoid harboring or operating the holders of this visa before settling their cases and transferring their sponsorship. Considering that they are residents because of the violation of the security of society and over the public right, stressing that the maintenance of the security of the homeland and stability is a duty of everyone who lives on its land, and that anyone who hosts a violator or the operation of a person other than the guarantee offers himself penalties and fines that Stipulated by the law, which amounts to 50 thousand dirhams for each violator.

Al-Rashedi pointed out that the maximum date for visas for job seekers to be valid is June, because the initiative to protect yourself by adjusting your status extended until the end of last December, explaining that this means that the visas issued in August ended in In February 2018 and 2018 in March 2019. The visa authority issued at the end of December 2018 will expire in June as the last date.

He stressed that the state will not tolerate the implementation of the law and take firm action against those who insist on continuing to violate the law by organizing intensive search and prosecution campaigns to control them and implement the penalties stipulated against them, including the fines imposed for the entire duration of the violation, as well as imprisonment and deportation from the state land.
