"Claims to no one": a teacher from Syzran asks to stop checking against the student who struck her

In Syzran, the teacher of physical education at school No. 27, Oksana Lebedeva, who tried to separate the fights of eighth-graders, got a blow in the face from one of them, and then fell. She was later hospitalized. On this fact, an inspection was initiated at the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

However, as RT told in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Samara Region, on Monday, January 14, the teacher appealed to the Ministry with a request to stop the inspection.

“The woman made a request to stop checking on this fact due to the fact that she has no complaints against anyone. The opinion of the teacher will be taken into account. Despite this, all the collected materials will be investigated, a pre-investigation check will be carried out and, based on its results, a procedural decision will be made in any case, ”the official said.

Raznimala schoolchildren

As it turned out, the incident itself occurred on Thursday, January 10, but it became known about him only on Monday. An eighth grader of school number 27 told RT that on that day, at a gym class, her classmate was playing with other guys.

“When they were playing, a boy from the 9th grade touched my classmate and began to provoke him. After that, they could not resist and fought. The teacher ran up and began to hold an eighth-grader. At that moment, the other boy swung his fist and hit the teacher in the face. She fell and lost consciousness, ”the girl said.

She added that when Lebedeva regained consciousness in the medical office, she said that she was fine and went home.

Another student of school number 27 told RT that she had heard the conversation between the head teacher and Lebedeva.

“After classes, I heard Oksana Vladimirovna tell the head teacher that she had been hit on the cheek with her elbow,” said the schoolgirl.

The girl added that at night after the incident, the teacher became ill and was taken to the ambulance in the hospital. Doctors diagnosed a closed head injury and hematoma in a woman. According to the State Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the woman was diagnosed with a brain concussion.

"Regularly arranged fights"

As other pupils of school No. 27 told RT, the boy who struck the teacher regularly arranged fights.

“His classmates for some reason called him a hero. He liked it, and he got involved in other fights again and again, ”said the students.

As the schoolchildren noted, the incident among the students never reached the point of a fight. After the incident, the parents of both participants of the fight were called to the school.

Children call Oksana Lebedev a kind person who always comes to the rescue.

“She always came to the rescue of all, defended. Awful case, the teacher is very good. I feel sorry for her, ”one student told RT.

The students explained that the conflict itself could have been avoided. According to them, there were always two teachers in the gym: Lebedeva and another man. However, at that moment he came out and was unable to intervene in the scuffle in time.

Also, the classmates of one of the boys denied the information of the local media that after the teacher fell, the students started kicking her.

“This was not the case, this blow was also accidental,” the schoolchildren said.

As the school was told by RT, the teacher works for them quite recently, they did not even have time to add them to the list of teachers on the institution’s website. Refuse to provide any information about the incident at school.

The injured teacher Oksana Lebedeva also did not comment on the RT incident.

Reaction to the situation

As reported by RT in the Ministry of Education and Science of the Samara Region, an official audit is currently being conducted.

“The teacher performed his professional duty. Trying to separate the scuffle between two teenagers, the physical education teacher was injured. Currently under review. All necessary medical assistance provided to the teacher. The situation is under the control of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Samara Region, ”the press service reported.

Also, the department added that the boy, who did not strike the teacher, is also now in the hospital and did not come to school. In addition, the press officer explained that, as it should be in such cases, preventive discussions were held with parents to resolve the conflict.

Against the background of a huge media response, the governor of the Samara region, Dmitry Azarov, personally intervened. He said on his page in social networks that he had a talk with the teacher on the phone.

“In a telephone conversation the teacher said that she feels fine. The situation with the incident in Syzran will remain in my control until the full clarification of all the circumstances and the punishment of the perpetrator. Every teacher should feel protected. The Ministry of Education of the Samara region needs to make additional efforts for this, ”Azarov wrote.

In addition, he thanked the physical education teacher for courage and for protecting children from serious injuries.
