Herman Finkers won the Zilveren Krulstaart for the best film script of the year on Saturday.

The comedian from Twente was in the running for the screenplay he wrote for the cinema film

The comedian was previously nominated for a Golden Calf for the film.

De Beentjes van Sint Hildegard

, which attracted more than 700,000 cinema visitors, is about a couple who decide to change course after thirty years of marriage.

Finkers plays the male lead, his co-star in the film is Johanna ter Steege.

The film is spoken almost entirely in Twente.

In the category best screenplay for a television series, the Zilveren Krulstaart went to Hugo Heinen for his series


, about the relationship between Ischa Meijer and Connie Palmen.

The awards are presented annually by the Network of Scenario Writers, which profiles the Zilveren Krulstaarten as the most important professional award for Dutch screenwriters.

The ceremony always takes place during the Netherlands Film Festival in Utrecht.
