Two Swiss alpinists landed on Tuesday with a small plane less than 400 meters below the top of Mont Blanc. From there they continue the journey to the top, with the police in their wake.
The mayor of neighboring Chamonix called the landing at 4,450 meters an "provocation" and an "unacceptable attack on the high mountains". The police have sent the mountain climbers of Mont Blanc.
According to the authorities, it is forbidden to land in the area, but the police nevertheless gave the Swiss permission to take off again.
During the summer months it climbs on Mont Blanc from the mountain climbers. The increase in mountain tourists has caused people to camp illegally on the mountain and to increase the amount of waste.
