A 16-year-old high school student was arrested Tuesday morning in Armentières, in the North, after threatening to slit the throat of his philosophy teacher on a social network. The teenager's threats were reported on the Pharos platform, a government site for reporting illegal content online.
He was arrested early Tuesday morning, then placed in police custody, according to police sources. A police force was then set up around the establishment, the Paul Hazard high school, and the teacher concerned filed a complaint.
