Two men were indicted and imprisoned after the death of a 31-year-old woman. The events took place in Montigny-lès-Metz, in Moselle.
One of the two suspects is indicted for "murder by spouse", while the second is charged with "Murder by a person in a state of intoxication" On average, a feminicide occurs every three days in France. There were 94 feminicides in 2023, compared to 118 in 2022.
