An ancient wall discovered in 2021 at the bottom of the Baltic Sea turned out to be part of hunting structures. Scientists concluded that the wall was most likely built by Stone Age communities for deer hunting more than 10 thousand years ago.

Scientists published their findings in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) The wall is located at a depth of 21 m and stretches for 1 km and consists of 1670 stones. The wall was discovered by researchers and students of the University of Kiel (Germany)
