Tiger Woods quits tournament in Los Angeles. 48-year-old played six holes on Friday and asked for a golf cart after teeing off on hole seven.

Rules keeper Mark Dusbabek said on US television that Woods had an illness that had nothing to do with the problems in his ankle or back. Woods only made his comeback in December at his invitation tournament in the Bahamas. The $20 million event at Riviera Country Club was the first official PGA tournament for Woods since the 2023 Masters.
