The men's and women's 4X100-meter freestyle relay won gold, and the Chinese swimming team made history. The Chinese team consisting of Pan Zhanle, Wang Haoyu, Li Bingjie, and Yu Yiting won the championship with a time of 3 minutes, 21 seconds and 18 seconds.
The team also refreshed the Asian record set by the team in the preliminaries. This is the fourth relay gold medal won by the Chinese team at the Doha World Championships.
