Speed skater Miho Takagi won four medals, including one gold, at last year's Beijing Games. Takagi announced her goal of participating in the 7 Milan Cortina d'Ampezzo Olympics and "I want to go for the gold medal by 2026 emails" Takagi will travel to the Netherlands in June to train for the Japan Distance Championships in October.
She has won seven medals, the most by a Japan female athlete at the Olympics, including two silver medals.
