Maja Åskag won the cross-country competition at a gala in Copenhagen. She set a new personal best in the fourth jump when she jumped 6.66 meters.
The 20-year-old has also shown fine form in the triple jump. The Swedish record is held by Erica Johansson and it is 6.99 meters. Second in Copenhagen was Icelandic Irma Gunnarsdottir. Third place was German Lucie Kienast, who jumped 14.00 meters.
