Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Moriyama sends a message of thanks to Mr. Otani who gave gloves to an elementary school.
The message was sent by email to Otani's agent on January 31st, and said, ``We hope to not only give children an opportunity to take an interest in the sport of baseball, but also encourage them to have dreams for the future and take on various challenges'' Otani donated 60,000 gloves to elementary schools in Japan to help children enjoy baseball.
