Japan Sports Agency Director Murofushi “Building a support system for athletes at the Paris Olympics and Paralympics”. On-site support facilities for the Japanese athletes have been set up since the 2012 London Olympics.
At the Paris Games, facilities were opened near the athletes' village about a month before the opening of the Olympics to prevent athletes from suffering fatigue. In addition to providing a space for recovery and refreshment, the facility will also provide Japanese food and conduct video analysis of athletes' performances.
