A racing car left the road during a rally in Hungary and crashed into spectators. Four people died and seven others suffered injuries.

The reason for the accident is not yet known, police said in a statement. According to media reports, the vehicle involved in the accident was a Škoda Fabia. The news site index.hu reports, with reference to rescue workers, that there is said to be a child among the injured. The accident occurred between Lábatlan and the municipality of Bajót in the north of Hungary.
