Max Eberl will succeed Hasan Salihamidžić as Bayern Munich's sports director. The 50-year-old worked for Borussia Mönchengladbach for many years.
He most recently worked for RB Leipzig until the two sides parted ways in September. The position of sports director for the Munich team has been vacant since the end of May 2023. According to a report in the trade magazine ‘kicker’, the future of a total of twelve players is being discussed.
