The 54th Biathlon World Championships will be held in Nové Město na Moravě between February 7th and 18th. As was the case last year, the results will not be taken into account for the World Cup.
A total of 36 medals will be awarded in twelve competitions. The hopes of the German athletes rest primarily on Franziska Preuß and Benedikt Doll. The Norwegians are the clear favorites going into the competition.
