Men's singles player Kodai Naraoka aims to participate in the Paris Olympics in badminton. He is ranked 6th in the world, the top Japanese player, and is expected to win a medal.

He and his father and coach, Hiroshi, worked repeatedly to improve the accuracy of their shots. He used to run 10km every day and shake a rice scoop 2,000 times in the bath to strengthen his wrists to fly the shuttlecock and become faster, he said.
