West Ham beat Fiorentina 1-0 in the Europa Conference League final. Jarrod Bowen scored the winning goal in the final seconds.
It was the first title for West Ham since the FA Cup in 1980 – 43 years ago. The match was marred by a head injury for Fioresntina captain Cristiano Biraghi. He was hit by plastic cups and then an electric cigarette and had to finish the match with a bandage on his head. He said: "When the final whistle went off, I wanted to cry"
